Drawing and Dining Rooms

There is an attractive drawing room where guests can relax, and enjoy tea and homemade cake, and in winter, all before a cosy log fire.

The dining room, for breakfast and dinner, is spacious, with an inglenook fireplace, ablaze on cold winter days.

The Bedrooms

There are 3 twin/double bedrooms, either with en suite or private bathrooms, which have everything you could need. The rooms are extremely quiet, with lovely views, and are decorated in typical English country house style.

They all have flat-screen digital TV, radio, supremely comfortable beds with Vi-Sprung mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, Siberian goose down, fluffy bathrobes, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, books and binoculars.

There is internet access downstairs.

The Grounds

Once a 6-acre field, Michael and Lavinia have created a formal garden from scratch. There are trees from the landscape, lawn areas with traditional yew hedging, mown paths and an orchard.

Beyond, sheep graze in the meadow, and an avenue of clipped white hawthorns draws the eye to a spinney planted in the distance. There are seats for guests to enjoy the garden, and have tea in the Summer.
